I'm so glad I'm not the only one out there. I thought I was mad. I love children. Give me your toddlers for a couple of hours and I'm as happy as a pig in mud. There is just something about the little people that bring out the inner kid in me. Now while this sounds; 'why doesn't she just have a baby.' I don't want one of my own. I like my life as it is for the moment. I have a saying, "I love my children. They maynot be here yet or even close but I love them already." I don't know, maybe I am bonkers. :P Yes Yes Yes!!! Sometimes, the overwhelming urge to not be a PANK hits and then I am quickly reminded why it is so amazingly cool to be a PANK that I am immediately thankful for being a PANK. I never thought I would call myself something that so closely rhymes with "SKANK" but I like to think of it more as "SWANK", because that's who I am. A SWANK PANK. Hello, world. I have a title. I like to think back to an episode of Sex and the City (not all PANK's relate, but I digress. Carrie gets this PANK through a lot.). She was attending a baby shower for a friend that registered for outrageously expensive baby gifts. Carrie brought it to her viewers attention that we all have those friends that we have showered them through engagements, weddings, divorces, babies, etc... and if you yourself never get married or have a baby, you are never celebrated, while you go on celebrating the best times in other peoples lives. In the words of Carrie, "Think about it. If you are single, after graduation there isn't one occasion where people celebrate you ... Hallmark doesn't make a "congratulations, you didn't marry the wrong guy" card. And where's the flatware for going on vacation alone?" . Which brings me to my point. HAPPY PANK DAY!!!
